Terms of Use

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By downloading, accessing, or using FillJoy, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, use FillJoy only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. The Service

FillJoy is a color-by-number application. It lets you browse and download coloring artwork, fill numbered areas, save progress locally, favorite artwork, replay or repaint completed work, and save or share a completed image through iOS features. Online access is required for guest authentication, browsing, downloading, feedback, reports, and other server-supported features.

The Service is provided for personal entertainment and creative relaxation. It is not professional, medical, therapeutic, or educational advice, and no particular outcome is promised.

3. Limited license

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use FillJoy on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the applicable app-store usage rules.

FillJoy is licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by us and our licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, sublicense, rent, sell, modify, or create derivative products from the app or Service except where these Terms, an applicable open-source license, or applicable law expressly permits.

4. Artwork and intellectual property

FillJoy and its software, artwork, line art, palettes, titles, descriptions, layouts, logos, and other Service content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Access to an artwork does not transfer ownership of the underlying source content.

You may color artwork in FillJoy and save or share the resulting completed image for personal, non-commercial use. You may not sell the source artwork or coloring packages, extract or redistribute FillJoy assets, offer them as a competing library, remove rights notices, or present the underlying artwork as content you independently created or own.

If you believe content available through FillJoy infringes your rights, email us with identification of the work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact details, and a good-faith explanation of the concern. We may remove or restrict content while a report is reviewed.

5. Anonymous guest profile and local data

FillJoy automatically creates an anonymous guest profile and rotating credential to securely access the Service. You do not receive a password and may not transfer, extract, share, or misuse the credential. You are responsible for reasonable security of your device and for activity originating from your app installation.

Coloring progress, favorites, downloads, and generated previews are primarily stored on the device and are not currently synchronized between devices. You are responsible for keeping any copy you want to preserve. Removing FillJoy, clearing app data, losing the device, or certain system events may cause local work to be unavailable or permanently lost.

6. Feedback and content reports

Feedback and reports must be accurate, lawful, relevant, and respectful. Do not submit confidential, infringing, abusive, deceptive, or unlawful material, or personal information that is not necessary for us to understand the issue.

You retain any rights you already hold in feedback you submit. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, adapt, and analyze that feedback for operating, supporting, protecting, and improving FillJoy. This does not give us permission to publicly identify you as the author.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use FillJoy or its content for an unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or commercial scraping purpose;
• interfere with the Service, bypass access controls, probe security, or overload an endpoint;
• use automation to create guest sessions, download content in bulk, manipulate popularity, or spam reports;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or protected content, except to the extent applicable law permits;
• circumvent content protections, signed download links, rate limits, or version controls;
• introduce malware or use the Service to infringe another person’s rights; or
• misrepresent your relationship with FillJoy or use its branding without permission.

8. App Store and third-party services

If you obtained FillJoy through Apple’s App Store, your license is also subject to Apple’s applicable usage rules and Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a valid custom license applies. Apple is not responsible for FillJoy’s maintenance or technical support; contact us using the details below.

FillJoy relies on third-party operating-system, hosting, storage, and delivery services. If you choose to share an image through a third-party destination, your use of that destination is governed by its terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9. Changes and availability

We may add, change, suspend, replace, version, or remove features or artwork; limit access to protect the Service; and release updates. Specific content may not always remain available, including content already listed in the app. We do not promise that FillJoy will work on every device, remain available in every region, or operate without interruption.

You are responsible for internet access, carrier charges, device compatibility, system updates, and installing app updates reasonably required for secure and reliable operation.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FillJoy and the Service are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation. We do not guarantee that local progress, downloads, or completed images will never be lost or corrupted.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, use, goodwill, profits, or business opportunities arising from or related to FillJoy.

These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

12. Termination

You may stop using FillJoy at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, address material or repeated violations of these Terms, or discontinue the Service. On termination, the license granted to you ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and general terms—will survive.

13. General terms

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a business reorganization or transfer, subject to applicable law.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and us regarding the Service, subject to any app-store terms that also apply. Applicable law governs without depriving you of mandatory rights available in the country where you live. Disputes will be handled by a court or other forum with lawful jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to FillJoy, law, or security. Revised Terms will be posted here with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
